Personality

Personality means the characteristics and appearance of a person -- his thoughts, feeling, behaviour, communication ability and physical features, confidence, boldness etc.

When a baby is born, he is strongly influenced by the environment of its family.
Friends, teachers and the environment of the school have their own positive or negative impact. Parents need to be very careful while raising a child. A few years ago parents rarely gave enough importance to personality development of their child, it was believed that personality is only about physical appearance, if a person is wearing good dresses he/she has a good personality.
But personality is not only concerned with physical appearance. If the inner personality of a person is weak he/she will loose impact as soon as he/she speaks or acts.
Such a person can not create a lasting impression. Therefore both the inner and outer personality are of immense importance.
It is said that 'PERSONALITIES ARE NOT BORN, THRY ARE FORGED.'
It is a process that requires time and efforts.
Personality Development is not limited to speaking good English. But It means to work on your weaknesses, strengthening your skills.
In the current era of endless opportunities and ever increasing competition, it is extremely important to work on one's own personality. Only good grades will not get us success but impressive personality will.
